It's a camera with integrated microphone that clips onto any Archos AV500 model (AV530, AV560, AV100, etc) essentially turning it into an instant camcorder! Spectacular quality and lightweight design make this item a must have for any AV500 owner! It will not allow still photos to be taken, but if you want to capture just one photo, you can record video for 1 second and then use a utility such as Windows Movie Maker
